Friday Post September 23, 2016 IT 9 - Kevin
What did I do this week?
During this week, I learned how to code on this website called Khan Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org/)
This website gives very detailed tutorials which helped me create assignments such as

Me Coding on Khan Academy:
What did I learn on Khan Academy?
I learned how to create a circle using the following command: Ellipse (x, y, w ,h)
x,y,w,h representing numbers.
I learned also how to create images using other commands representing shapes such as a circle, rectangle, simple straight lines, and arcs. Using all of those and messing around with them eventually leading to an image I wanted to create. Colour is also a factor!
Initial thoughts and opinions, and how it has changed!
Before starting to code, I honestly thought it was going to be a very simple assignment, I thought it was going to be very easy for me to bypass, but after getting a shot to finish assignments, coding is not as simple as it seems! It involves more than just typing! Although I'm getting used to it, it's absolutely fun to mess around with and create images I wanted to make!

Friday Post - IT 9 - September 16th, 2016.
What I did this Week in InfoTech 9!
I learned how to create blogs, as well as used the Pivot Animator program to create viral videos.
Creating a Blog
For Blogs, I had to share my thoughts and opinions on what I predict I will get in IT 9, as well as what I would love to learn in this class. We also had to share screenshots of a game called "Super Plant Crash" which was fairly difficult to win, but I still managed to get the screenshots to my blog. Last but not least, we shared our Pivot Animator movie clips to our blog, which I'll be talking about next line!
Pivot Animator
For Pivot Animator, I created a Soccer Scott Sterling video, where he repetitively gets hit in the face with the soccer ball during the shootout. He would eventually lead them to victory. Creating that movie clip was very fun and enjoyable as I love recreating humorous videos. I have plenty of ideas for Pivot Animator, and am looking forward to sharing my creations on my blog!

What I want to Learn in IT 9!
Things I would love to learn in IT, would be learning new mechanics in Photoshop, After Effects, and editing videos more smoothly. I hope that in the future, I could use those softwares to benefit me in any contests, or programs that require a banner representing yourself, or even a video. I hope I can learn what I want in this class!
